You can find entertainment DVD's as well as documentaries or instructional video in our catalog.

Option #1: From the catalog click on Advanced Search (to the right of the Search button). Limit your Format Type (drop down menu) to “Video disc” and then use whatever search terms/fields that are of interest to you.

Option #2: When using the search box, search using All Fields and type the name of the dvd you are looking for and the term dvd. For example use the All Fields search and the search terms: harry potter dvd

Option #3: Perform your search, and if you need to limit results, on the Material Type filter, choose

  • Express DVD for entertainment films that checkout for 7 days.
  • 1 DVD-TV for TV shows that checkout for 3 weeks
  • or DVD Adult Collection or DVD Children Collection for documentaries, instructional materials, or children's materials that circulate for 3 weeks.

If you want entertainment DVDs, another easy way to find them is from the search box or browse links on our Movies & Video page.

You can place holds on DVDs just as you do on books.
