We send books belonging to school libraries back to the schools.

Our branches do not keep these books more than a day or two.  However, if you returned the item just yesterday, you may be able to call the branch to which you returned it and ask them to check for it.

We keep a log of these items, so you can inquire with Ask-a-Librarian at 240-777-0001 or at your library branch about whether we have a record showing that a particular title has been sent back to its owning library.
