You can place a hold online and select your pickup branch, or you can call the library that has the item and ask for it to be sent to another branch. Transferring an on-shelf item between branches may take 3 to 5 days.
There is no charge for this, but if you have a book transferred to another branch and don't pick it up within 10 days of being notified that it has arrived for you at the branch (or don't cancel the hold via your online account or Ask-a-Librarian), there will be a $1 fee.
