The Marina interlibrary loan system covers participating libraries in Maryland.  Its catalog does not include libraries from DC or Virginia.

However, you can use forms on the Marina site to request books outside its holdings.  You will see links to the forms if you click on My Account at the top of Marina's screen or if your search brings up no results.  The requests go beyond Maryland to OCLC, a national interlibrary loan service.  Read more on our interlibrary loan page.

Alternatively, if you live in Montgomery County, you can borrow directly from public libraries in DC and northern Virginia, if you don't mind going to those libraries.  We have reciprocity agreements that allow you to register for a card with these systems:  DC, Alexandria, Arlington County, Fairfax County, Loudoun County, and Prince William County.
