I have a hold listed as "Available Pickup At" when I go to "My Account." I did not get a notice. How come?

Our system runs a report at the end of each day to generate the paper and email notices about available holds.

If you log in to your library account, you may see your hold arrived at your pickup branch on the very day that it arrived, but the system has not yet created the notices.

Here are a couple of other possibilities:

  • Make sure that is a safe sender on your email or add that address to your contact list.
  • If your email address has changed, go to the Email Registration form and register your new address.  Be sure to reply to the confirmation email that you should receive within 48 hours.

  1. Accounts may get dropped from the system when a card has not been used in a library branch to check out materials for over a year. If this is the case with yours, please bring your card and some identification to any of our libraries. Staff there will be glad to reinstate your account. Here is the current policy on annual account renewal
